President Nikos Christodoulides inaugurated the new building of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics on Wednesday, highlighting its significance for the country and the institute. The state-of-the-art facility covers more than 11,000 square meters and was built at a cost of €31 million, marking a major investment in Cyprus's research and healthcare sectors.

The project received joint funding from the Republic of Cyprus and the European Investment Bank, emphasizing the collaboration between national and European institutions. President Christodoulides underscored the government's ongoing commitment to supporting the institute, stating that such backing is a deliberate policy priority moving forward.
