A violent brawl involving 15 to 20 people erupted in the middle of a road in Xylofagou yesterday evening, alarming local residents. Participants reportedly threw stones and wielded hammers, crowbars, and knives during the incident. The clash also caused damage to a parked vehicle, and at one point, a car involved in the fight attempted to run over individuals before crashing into a nearby building.

Local witnesses described a scene of panic as those involved quickly abandoned their vehicle and fled the area prior to police arrival.
