Alpha Bank Cyprus has appointed Penny Spiliotopoulou as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and enhanced the responsibilities of Charis Kynigou Landas, Chief Private Banking Officer, as part of an updated executive committee structure. These changes aim to accelerate the bank’s strategic goals and improve responsiveness to market needs with specialised expertise and a customer-focused approach.
Spiliotopoulou brings over 30 years of financial services experience from the UK and Greece, having held senior roles within the Alpha Bank Group and other institutions. Meanwhile, Kynigou Landas will lead the development of the bank’s private wealth business, including international private banking and treasury management, building on her extensive background at AstroBank and other financial institutions.
