🏠 Cyprus home sales grow 3.8% in 2025 following previous year’s decline
Home sales in Cyprus increased by 3.8% in 2025 compared to 2024, reversing a 1.1% decline recorded the previous year, according to Eurostat data. This growth contributes to an overall trend of rising property transactions across most EU countries in 2025.
Among the 18 European Union countries with available data, only Croatia, Bulgaria, and Poland experienced declines in home sales, while Slovenia, Lithuania, and Austria saw the largest increases. Cyprus's rebound aligns with these positive trends amid varying national real estate dynamics.
The property market in Cyprus also reflects a rising demand for apartments, contributing to record-high property prices. This surge indicates a continued interest in the real estate sector, following fluctuations seen in previous years across Europe.
