Independent criminal investigator Andreas Paschalides confirmed on Tuesday that he will aim to meet the extended July 20 deadline for the 'videogate' investigation. The probe was initiated following the release of a controversial video linked to the online account of Emily Thomson in January. Initially set to conclude in mid-April, Paschalides requested two extensions to thoroughly examine the case. The video has raised serious allegations involving political figures and business interests, as well as concerns over influence, campaign financing, and major investment decisions. Police spokesman Vyron Vyronos stated that law enforcement is actively assisting Paschalides, adhering strictly to his guidance throughout the inquiry.
