During a large-scale police operation on Saturday night, eight individuals were arrested for offenses such as drug possession, drink-driving, and illegal residency. Authorities issued a total of 329 traffic citations, notably 96 for speeding violations.

Police stopped 511 vehicles and checked 652 drivers and passengers. The operation also involved inspections of 58 premises, leading to eight reports filed. Breathalyser tests were conducted on 291 drivers, with 30 testing positive for alcohol impairment.

Additionally, ten preliminary roadside drug tests were administered, resulting in six positive results. As part of the crackdown, 22 vehicles were impounded to enhance road safety and law enforcement efforts.
