Police have arrested three 18-year-old suspects in connection with the serious assault of a 47-year-old man in Famagusta district. The victim remains intubated and in critical condition at Nicosia general hospital following the attack on Sunday. The arrests were made in the early hours of Monday under court warrants, and the suspects are currently in custody to assist with investigations.

Authorities have stated that the three individuals are expected to appear before Famagusta district court later on Monday, where remand orders will be sought. The Famagusta criminal investigation department continues to investigate the case, which has been classified as grievous bodily harm. Police are actively pursuing leads as the victim's condition remains critical.
