Deputy Shipping Minister Marina Hadjimanoli will travel to London on Monday to attend an event organized by the Cyprus deputy ministry at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) aimed at promoting the Cypriot maritime and shipping industry. The event will be attended by IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Domínguez and representatives from IMO member states. During her visit, Hadjimanoli plans to meet Fawaz Al-Sahli, president of Saudi Arabia’s transport general authority, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the shipping sector. Additionally, she will engage with representatives of various shipping companies to further promote the Cypriot ship registry and explore opportunities for expanded collaboration.
