Two men, aged 32 and 38, were hospitalised following a fire at a gas station in Larnaca on Friday night. The blaze occurred when one man attempted to light a cigarette while the other was refueling a vehicle, igniting the fire. Onlookers quickly extinguished the flames before emergency services arrived.
The 32-year-old suffered minor burns and was treated with first aid before being discharged from Larnaca's A&E department. The 38-year-old sustained more severe injuries, including second- and third-degree burns to his lower body, and remains hospitalized for ongoing treatment.
