A 45-year-old Sri Lankan man suffered minor burns to his shoulder after lightning struck nearby as he was leaving a chapel in Kato Drys on Saturday around 1 pm. The incident occurred while the man was entering a car with two others. He was immediately taken to Larnaca General Hospital's A&E department for examination and tests. According to authorities, the man's condition is stable and described as good.
