Four Injured in Limassol–Platres Road Collision Near Alassa
Four people were injured in a road collision on the Limassol–Platres road near Alassa on Saturday afternoon. Two vehicles collided, and the Fire Service was called to rescue one of the injured individuals using specialized equipment. The injured were transported to Limassol General Hospital for treatment and monitoring.
The accident involved a 62-year-old couple and their 32-year-old daughter in one vehicle, and the 47-year-old driver of the other. All four were admitted to hospital, with their conditions reported as stable and out of danger. The couple and their daughter sustained lighter injuries and remain hospitalized for precautionary observation.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the collision to determine its cause.
