University of Nicosia launches English-taught Integrated Master in Pharmacy for 2026–2027 intake
The University of Nicosia is set to welcome students to its new English-taught Integrated Master in Pharmacy (MPharm) program for the 2026–2027 academic year. This five-year, full-time course, offered on the university's main campus, addresses demand from both Cypriot and international students seeking a pharmacy education in English within an international setting. The program complements the existing Greek-language option, enhancing accessibility.
Students will benefit from hands-on training across eight specialized pharmacy laboratories covering disciplines such as medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, pharmacology, and drug research. According to Professor Christos Petrou, Head of the Department of Health Sciences, the English-language program opens opportunities for local and international students, offering a high-quality pharmacy education without the need to study abroad.
The curriculum is designed to meet modern healthcare industry needs, focusing on personalized care, prevention, and pharmaceutical innovation. Graduates can pursue careers in community and hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical research and development, regulatory authorities, and related sectors. Applications for the Fall 2026 cohort are currently open through the University of Nicosia’s admissions procedures.
