Keo plc completes interim dividend payment after resolving software issues
Keo plc, a leading Cypriot beverage company, has completed the payment of its €1.69 million interim dividend to shareholders, overcoming earlier software problems that threatened to delay the payout. The dividend, approved during the annual general meeting on July 8, 2026, allocated 4 cents per fully paid share from 2024 profits.
The company had initially warned on August 7, 2026, of technical issues with their dividend calculation software, which pushed the payment timeline beyond the targeted August 17 deadline. However, all payments were finalized by August 25, 2026, in compliance with regulatory requirements governing dividend distribution on shares registered by July 20, 2026.
Shareholders at the July meeting also approved the 2025 financial statements, re-elected three board members, and confirmed Deloitte Ltd as the external auditor for 2026. The company emphasized that unresponsive beneficiaries must provide authorization details to receive dividends, with options to collect payments directly from the registered office.
