Construction begins on Nikos Pattichis avenue in Larnaca to enhance pedestrian infrastructure
Works are set to begin on Monday along Nikos Pattichis avenue in Larnaca, aiming to construct new pavements and pedestrian crossings. The project, announced by the Public Works Department, will last one week and focus on the stretch from Acharnon street towards the Kamares roundabout.
During construction, the left lane of the avenue will be closed for approximately 50 meters. Traffic will be diverted to the right lane as motorists are advised to follow posted signs and exercise caution while passing through the area. The improvements are expected to increase safety and accessibility for pedestrians in this busy part of the city.
