School supply prices remain stable in Cyprus despite rising costs in other products

The cost of school supplies in Cyprus has remained steady compared to last year, according to Andreas Hadjiadamou, executive secretary of the supermarket association. Despite continuous price increases for other products, supermarkets have managed to keep school supply prices stable by partnering with importers or sourcing from markets not affected by inflation.

Hadjiadamou highlighted that a wide range of school supplies are already available on store shelves at competitive prices. School bags, exercise books, and stationery are in highest demand, with options catering to various budgets. Additionally, many supermarkets are offering loyalty points and rewards programs to further benefit customers.

The association's recent shop visits revealed that not only large supermarkets but also smaller retailers are now stocking school necessities. This expansion provides consumers with greater variety and convenience when purchasing school supplies for the upcoming academic year.
