Limassol Police Seize Over 650g Cannabis, Arrest Four in Drug Trafficking Operation
In a coordinated operation in Limassol district, the Anti-Drugs Unit (YKAN) alongside YDAP seized more than 650 grams of cannabis, an air pistol, 2,765 euros in cash, and arrested four individuals suspected of drug trafficking and possession. The operation targeted a 20-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man identified through intelligence about drug distribution.
Authorities stopped the 20-year-old's car, uncovering cannabis, cannabis resin, cash, a grinder, a precision scale, and a mobile phone. Subsequent vehicle and home searches of the suspects revealed additional cannabis and cash, along with the air pistol found at the 20-year-old's residence.
The arrested individuals now face investigations for drug possession with intent to supply, money laundering, and possession of an air pistol. The Limassol District Branch continues its investigations in collaboration with Polemidia Police Station.
