Fire damages shed, vehicle, and property in Ayia Napa early Tuesday

A fire broke out next to a house in Ayia Napa early Tuesday morning, destroying a prefabricated shed and damaging the owner’s vehicle, as well as the building’s paintwork and an air conditioning compressor. The blaze was reported at 6:17 a.m., prompting the rapid deployment of two fire engines. Firefighters brought the fire under control by 7:10 a.m. The fire is believed to have started in the shed adjacent to the ground floor house, causing extensive damage to its contents. Fortunately, the residents evacuated the house safely before the fire spread further.
