421 traffic violations including 150 speeding cases reported during Cyprus police night patrols
Cyprus police conducted extensive night patrols across urban areas resulting in 421 traffic violation reports, including 150 for speeding. During these operations, 568 vehicles and 715 individuals were checked, and 10 vehicles were impounded. Additionally, 46 premises were inspected, leading to 3 infringements.
Law enforcement efforts also led to the arrest of three individuals for offenses including illegal possession of drugs and stolen property. Alcohol and drug tests were conducted with 2 drivers cited for alcohol violations and 4 positive drug test results from 7 preliminary checks.
