Limassol police officer arrested for stealing impounded scooter

A police officer in Limassol was arrested by his colleagues on Thursday after being accused of stealing a scooter that had been seized as evidence. The scooter was impounded following a separate case where the rider escaped police interception. The officer allegedly loaded the scooter into his personal vehicle and admitted to the theft on the spot.
