Central Bank of Cyprus extends application deadline for senior communications and economic history centre roles
The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) has extended the application deadline to September 20, 2026, for two senior positions: senior communications officer and senior officer at the newly planned Centre for Cyprus Economic and Monetary History. The senior communications officer will manage the bank’s internal and external communications strategies, media relations, and public understanding of the CBC's mission. Candidates require extensive experience in corporate communications and relevant advanced qualifications.
The second position involves leading the establishment and development of the Centre for Cyprus Economic and Monetary History, including a planned Monetary Museum showcasing over 10,000 historical objects. Applicants must have expertise in archaeology, history, or museology, along with museum management experience. Both positions offer salaries ranging from €53,701 to €92,610 and require applicants to be Cypriot or EU citizens meeting specific eligibility criteria. Applications must be submitted electronically with requisite documentation and a fee.
