Cyprus Industrial Output Prices Rise 4.4% Year-on-Year in July 2026
Cyprus's industrial output prices increased by 4.4% year-on-year in July 2026, reaching an index of 128.2 units based on 2021 values, according to Cystat. This represents a 2% increase compared to June 2026 and a 1.3% rise over the first seven months of the year compared to the same period in 2025. Electricity supply saw the most significant monthly jump, with prices surging 9.9%, while manufacturing and water supply also experienced slight increases.
On an annual basis, electricity supply prices led sectoral growth with a 14% rise, followed by water supply and materials recovery at 5.6%, and manufacturing at 2.1%. Mining and quarrying showed the smallest increase at 1.6%. Prices for products sold locally increased by 4.6%, while export prices rose 3.3% year-on-year.
Within manufacturing, the largest price gains were in electronic and optical products and electrical equipment, up 11%. Other notable increases included basic metals and fabricated metal products, furniture and machinery repair, and wood products. Some sectors such as food products and textiles experienced stable or slight price declines on a monthly basis.
