John Cleese to Perform in Cyprus with One-Man Show on November 10
Legendary British comedian John Cleese, co-founder of Monty Python and creator of Fawlty Towers, will make his first-ever performance in Cyprus on Tuesday, November 10. The event will take place at Eleftheria Stadium in Nicosia and begins at 7:30 pm. Cleese will present his one-man show, "Last Time To See Me Before I Die," which offers personal reflections on his life, career, and the themes of fame, aging, and mortality.
Cleese’s career spans decades with iconic works including the absurdist Monty Python’s Flying Circus and the critically acclaimed sitcom Fawlty Towers. He also earned BAFTA and Oscar recognition for his role and writing in "A Fish Called Wanda." Originally intended as a farewell tour, the show has continued to draw audiences worldwide. Tickets for the Cyprus performance will be available for pre-sale starting Wednesday at 10 am.
