Two men arrested in Ayia Napa with 300 unused nitrous oxide capsules
Two men were arrested in Ayia Napa on Saturday after police discovered 300 unused nitrous oxide capsules during a vehicle inspection. The vehicle, driven by a 26-year-old man with a 29-year-old passenger, was stopped during routine police checks. Upon searching the vehicle, officers found and seized the capsules along with several balloons.
The two men were taken into custody, charged in writing, and released pending further investigation. The case is being handled by Ayia Napa police as authorities continue their efforts to regulate the possession and use of nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas.
