Private vehicle extensively damaged by fire in Larnaca field

A private vehicle was extensively damaged by a fire in the early hours of Sunday while parked in a field beside a road in Larnaca. The blaze, which started around 1:19 am, severely affected the front of the vehicle and also burned a small area of dry grass. Two staffed fire engines from the Fire Service responded promptly to control the fire.

Larnaca police are currently guarding the scene as an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. Over the past 24 hours, the Fire Service has responded to a total of 30 incidents, including 15 fires, 12 special services, and three false alarms.
