Cyprus repatriated 119 illegal immigrants on Friday as part of continued operations led by the police and the deputy migration ministry. Since January 1, a total of 5,288 illegal immigrants have been returned either voluntarily or mandatorily.

The police reported that 856 illegal immigrants have arrived in Cyprus this year, a decrease compared to 1,299 during the same period last year. Authorities emphasized their commitment to ongoing operations to manage illegal immigration in cooperation with other services.
