18-year-old in critical condition after Limassol electric bicycle accident

An 18-year-old male is in critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital following a severe injury sustained on Tuesday night in Limassol. The young man was found injured beside his electric bicycle at the junction of Makarios and Despina Pattichi avenues around 10:30 p.m. by relatives. Initially taken to Limassol General Hospital, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital due to a traumatic brain injury, where he remains intubated in intensive care.

Police were informed of the incident on Thursday and are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the injury. Limassol traffic police are focusing on determining how the accident occurred. Authorities continue to gather information to clarify the events surrounding the young man’s condition.
