New members of President Nikos Christodoulides’ cabinet will earn close to €80,000 annually in net salaries for their ministerial roles. According to figures from the state’s general accounting office, ministers and deputy ministers appointed in the recent government reshuffle will receive a monthly net salary of €6,080, totaling €78,004 annually.

This updated salary data applies to the newly appointed Transport Minister Evanthia Tsolaki, Agriculture Minister Christos Senekis, Deputy Social Welfare Minister Tina Pavlou, and Deputy Culture Minister Clea Hadjistephanou-Papaellina. Additionally, two new commissioners, environment commissioner Elias Myrianthous and citizen commissioner Irene Poyiadji, will receive a monthly net salary of €5,386, equating to €70,554 annually.

Director of the president’s office Panayiotis Palates will earn a net monthly salary of €3,267 or €42,614 annually. The figures are based on projected July 2026 salaries and exclude any other income, tax exemptions, or additional deductions. This salary update follows a partial cabinet reshuffle announced on Tuesday, which saw three ministers leave the government.
