Animal Party to Hold Dialogue Meeting at Parliament with Direct Democracy Cyprus
The Animal Party has accepted an invitation from social media influencer Fidias Panayiotou’s Direct Democracy Cyprus to hold a meeting and exchange views at the Cyprus parliament on Thursday afternoon. The Animal Party emphasized its openness to dialogue on issues affecting humans, animals, and nature, highlighting its commitment to autonomy and longstanding principles.
This meeting comes ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections and follows the Animal Party’s previous endorsement of the Ecologists’ Movement, which unfortunately lost all its parliamentary seats after 25 years of representation. Direct Democracy Cyprus, on the other hand, secured four seats in its first electoral participation, ranking as the sixth most popular party despite receiving significantly fewer votes compared to Panayiotou's 2024 European Parliament election results.
The planned meeting is seen as an opportunity for the parties to discuss key public interest issues under the shared goal of promoting health and prosperity for all.
