Cyprus launches moneypedia.cy, a new national financial literacy portal
The Cyprus Financial Literacy and Education Committee (CyFLEC) has launched moneypedia.cy, a national digital portal aimed at enhancing financial literacy among Cypriot citizens. The platform consolidates accessible, evidence-based financial information under one roof, targeting all age groups and levels of expertise.
The portal offers practical tools and resources, including financial calculators, educational videos, and tailored quizzes, covering topics from budgeting and saving to investing and retirement planning. It is designed to assist students, families, entrepreneurs, and pensioners alike in making informed financial decisions.
Funded by the Central Bank of Cyprus with support from the Finance Ministry and the European Commission, moneypedia.cy is positioned as a dynamic resource with ongoing updates. CyFLEC's chair emphasized the portal’s role in empowering individuals to confidently manage their finances and invited all citizens to explore its content and tools.
