Sketching Summer 2026 Art Retreat Launches Near Polis Chrysochous This September
Sketching Summer 2026, a creative retreat blending art, nature, and community, is set to take place from September 11 to 13 at Val’s Place near Polis Chrysochous. Organized by artUS Open Art Studio, the event will host up to 30 participants in drawing and painting sessions culminating in a group exhibition. The retreat welcomes both beginners and experienced artists, emphasizing a relaxed, judgement-free environment.
The program features life drawing sessions with nude models, themed poses, portrait sketching circles, and a highlight acrylic painting session during golden hour surrounded by nature. Participants can also enjoy free sketching time, shared meals including vegan options, music, and communal activities. Art materials are provided, while accommodation is optional, with camping available on-site.
The early-bird registration price is €220 until July 31, rising to €260 afterward, with a limited number of Saturday Day Passes priced at €170. Due to the inclusion of nude life drawing, participants must be aged 18 or over. The retreat aims to foster artistic collaboration and culminates with a public exhibition where artists retain full sales proceeds.
