Lidl Cyprus Launches PAW Patrol-Branded Healthy Food Campaign Starting August 2026
Starting August 17, 2026, Lidl Cyprus will introduce a five-week campaign featuring PAW Patrol branding on selected own-brand food products and fresh fruits and vegetables that meet strict nutritional criteria. This initiative marks the first time the global children's franchise will be used to promote healthier eating in Lidl stores across Cyprus and 29 other countries. The products meet standards based on the World Health Organisation’s nutrient profile model and Lidl’s additional quality requirements.
The campaign aims to tackle childhood obesity, a significant public health challenge in Europe with 25% of children overweight, by inspiring families to make informed, healthier choices using familiar characters. Lidl has committed to only advertising children's own-brand products that meet these nutritional standards throughout the campaign and beyond.
Embedded in Lidl’s CSR strategy, 'Conscious Nutrition,' the partnership with PAW Patrol supports balanced diets aligned with the Planetary Health Diet framework. The initiative highlights Lidl’s role in making healthy eating fun and accessible, reinforcing their ongoing commitment to offer trusted and nutritious options for families in Cyprus.
