JPB Cyprus Holding to acquire 100% of Genesis Logistics pending regulatory approval
JPB Cyprus Holding Ltd has reached an agreement to acquire the entire ownership of Genesis Logistics, a prominent freight-forwarding company based in Larnaca. The deal, which was notified to the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) on August 12, remains subject to regulatory clearance before it can be finalized. Neither JPB nor Genesis disclosed the purchase price or financing details.
Genesis Logistics, established in 2000 and led by founders Stefanos Stefani and Chrystalla Iordanou, operates a 6,000-square-metre facility offering a range of services including air and sea freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and specialized pharmaceutical logistics. Under the acquisition terms, the current leadership will remain responsible for the company's management and strategic direction.
JPB Cyprus Holding, an investment group headquartered in Paphos with diversified operations including renewable energy, said the acquisition aims to support Genesis’ growth and strengthen its international transport and supply chain services. The transaction is pending approval from the CPC, and no timeline for completion or investment details has been disclosed.
