The incident involved the child and a 48-year-old man, both Greek Cypriots, who sustained injuries during a collision between their towed water device and a jet ski piloted by a 17-year-old girl. The man was hospitalized with a pelvic fracture at the Famagusta General Hospital. Authorities report that three other people were with the injured parties on the water device but were unharmed. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash, including whether the underage jet ski operator was legally permitted to drive. No additional injuries have been reported as a result of the accident.
