A small forest fire in Menoyia was swiftly brought under control within 20 minutes on Sunday afternoon, following a vehicle fire that sparked the blaze. The fire began around 2:50 pm and spread across approximately two acres of carob fields before being extinguished by 3:10 pm. Emergency response involved eight forestry department personnel with three fire engines, supplemented by six additional firefighters and two more engines. Thanks to the rapid and coordinated efforts, the fire was contained without further escalation or reported injuries.
