Three off-duty Paphos police officers suspended over nightclub assault allegations
Three off-duty police officers in Paphos have been suspended following allegations of assault at a nightclub in the early hours of August 13. The officers, aged 36, 43, and 44, are being investigated for causing actual bodily harm. The suspension was ordered by Deputy Police Chief Panikos Stavrou as the case is thoroughly examined.
The investigation began after a member of the public reported being attacked by four individuals at the nightclub. Police identified three of those involved as members of the force. The Paphos Criminal Investigation Department is currently handling the case to determine the facts and ensure appropriate action is taken.
