Two men arrested after 44-year-old stabbed in Limassol home attack
Police have detained two men following an attack on a 44-year-old man at his Limassol residence shortly before midnight. The victim, attacked by his 37-year-old flatmate and a 30-year-old man, sustained cuts to his head, neck, and nose, with the 37-year-old allegedly stabbing him with a knife. The injured man was hospitalized and remains under medical care.
Authorities apprehended the 30-year-old while driving in Limassol, discovering a knife in his vehicle. Both suspects were arrested for carrying knives illegally. Investigators later located the 37-year-old and seized a weapon from him as well.
The two men are currently held as the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department continues probing the incident. They are expected to face a remand hearing in court soon.
