Man Arrested in Larnaca for Possession of Burglary Tools and Stolen Items
A 34-year-old man was arrested in Larnaca in the early hours of Wednesday after police found burglary tools and several silver-plated items in his backpack. Officers from the Larnaca Crime Prevention Unit stopped the man at around 1:45 am after observing him cycling suspiciously.
Upon searching his backpack, the officers discovered the tools and items which are believed to have been held unlawfully. The man was taken into custody on suspicion of unlawful possession of property and possession of burglary tools.
He is scheduled to appear in court later Wednesday, where the police will request a remand order to continue the investigation.
