Police seize nine computers in Paphos crackdown on illegal online casino gambling
Police conducted a raid at a Paphos establishment on Wednesday, seizing nine computer towers suspected of being used for illegal online casino gambling. The premises, owned by a 35-year-old man, were searched under a court warrant as part of an ongoing crackdown on unlawful gambling operations.
Along with the computers, other equipment and items were confiscated for forensic examination. The owner has been summoned for further questioning at the police station. During the operation, two additional individuals found in the establishment were arrested due to outstanding court warrants related to unpaid fines. They settled their dues at the Paphos central police station and were subsequently released.
