Cyprus to Strengthen AI and Digital Innovation Ties with Kazakhstan during Official Visit
Cyprus aims to bolster cooperation with Kazakhstan in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and innovation during Deputy Minister Nicodemos Damianou's official visit to Astana from October 1 to 3. Damianou will participate in the AI & Digital Bridge Forum, an international event that gathers government officials, tech industry leaders, investors, researchers, and startups to discuss advancements in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation.
The forum will focus on leveraging innovation to promote economic growth and enhance competitiveness. During his visit, Damianou is scheduled to meet with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev, along with other government and business representatives. This visit reflects Cyprus’s commitment to expanding international collaboration in technology and innovation amid the rising importance of AI and digital transformation in national policy.
Damianou is expected to return to Cyprus on October 3 following the engagement.
