Cyprus Cement Public Company Reports H1 2026 Profit Rise to €5.4 Million
Cyprus Cement Public Company announced a first-half profit of €5.4 million for 2026, up from €4.64 million in the same period last year. The increase was driven primarily by a stronger contribution from its associate, Vassiliko Cement Works, whose share of profit rose to €5.9 million compared to €4.9 million in the first half of 2025. Basic earnings per share also improved to 3.94 cents from 3.38 cents.
The results were approved by the company’s board on September 28 as part of its interim condensed consolidated financial statements. While Cyprus Cement is mainly focused on land development and strategic investments, the company’s investment in Vassiliko Cement remains a key contributor to its earnings. Income for the period increased slightly to €207,000 from €193,000 a year earlier.
Looking ahead, Cyprus Cement cautioned that full-year results could vary due to market uncertainties, making the overall outcome for 2026 difficult to predict. The company’s performance in the first half follows a full-year net profit of €5.94 million in 2025, which included €8.99 million from Vassiliko Cement Works.
