Tetraktys Films to present monumental publication on Asia Minor and Cyprus history in Nicosia, Limassol, and Athens this November

Tetraktys Films announces the completion of the first volume of "Voices and Memories of Asia Minor and Cyprus. They Do Not Fade, They Are Not Forgotten," a comprehensive two-volume work researched and edited by Dr Chrysanthos Chrysanthou. The 768-page publication explores the deep historical, religious, educational, commercial, and social ties between Cyprus and Asia Minor, highlighting the experiences of refugees who settled in Cyprus following the Asia Minor catastrophe of 1922.

The book includes rare archival materials and personal testimonies documenting centuries-old connections, particularly between Cyprus and southern coastal cities like Antalya and Alanya. It also recounts the refugees' challenging arrival, quarantine at Dhekelia, and their integration into Cypriot society. A second volume is planned for completion by 2027 due to the richness of the material.

The first volume will be officially presented on November 5, 2026, at the Cultural Foundation of the Holy Monastery of Kykkos in Nicosia, followed by events at the Limassol Book Fair (November 20-22) and at the House of Cyprus in Athens on November 26. The publication is sponsored by the "Anastasis and Efrosyni Tosounoglou" Foundation and dedicated to the memory of refugees from Asia Minor and Cyprus.
