Yianis Christodoulou Foundation marks 10 years with youth festival and concert in Nicosia
The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special event on October 29, 2026, at the Tassos Papadopoulos – Eleftheria Stadium in Nicosia. Starting at 4pm, the foundation will host a free-entry youth festival featuring games, entertainment, and a unique basketball competition where the first 10 participants to score a backwards basket will win €1,000, half of which will be donated to charity.
The evening’s highlight will be a ceremony at 7:30pm followed by a concert from Konstantinos Argiros. General admission is €5 to support the foundation's initiatives for children, with limited VIP tickets available offering exclusive amenities. Since its establishment, the foundation has implemented over 100 projects focused on supporting children and young people in Cyprus and internationally.
The event is sponsored by Nicosia Municipality and aims to extend the foundation’s mission of giving back to society, inspired by founder John Christodoulou's vision of creating genuine opportunities for vulnerable groups and youth.
