Nicosia International Festival presents family-friendly, language-free performances in October

The Nicosia International Festival (NIF) is offering engaging productions for all ages this October with its NIF Family series. On October 3, the Cyprus Theatre Organisation’s New Stage will host "David and Goliath," a language-free performance by choreographer Ian Garside and actor Tomás Pozzi. The show, presented twice at 11am and 4pm, uses movement and playful storytelling to explore themes of strength and triumph through the classic tale.

Later in the month, on October 17, the Nicosia Municipal Theatre will feature "Souvenirs: Claire & Antho," a collaboration between the Mitsikouri Festival and NIF. This imaginative, family-friendly performance incorporates light, shadows, optical illusions, video projections, movement, and dance to reflect on memories and dreams. The show invites both children and adults to connect with personal experiences in a visually striking production.

Both performances aim to transcend language barriers and create shared experiences for audiences of diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the festival's commitment to inclusive cultural engagement throughout October.
