Limassol Water Board contracts €1.64m project for new reservoirs and pumping stations

The Limassol Water Board has signed a contract for the construction of two new water reservoirs and pumping stations to serve Fasoula and the Mesa Geitonia municipal district. The signing ceremony took place on 22 September at the water board’s offices in Limassol, marking a significant step in upgrading the region's water infrastructure.

This project, part of a wider initiative to reinforce water supply systems across the Limassol district, has an estimated budget of €1.64 million. Construction work is scheduled to begin in October 2026, with the aim of completing the facilities by December 2028.

The new infrastructure is expected to enhance water distribution and reliability for the local communities, addressing increasing demand and supporting sustainable water management in the area.
