Eurobank has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs in Cyprus by sponsoring the ninth annual youth entrepreneurship awards organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve). The awards recognise entrepreneurs under 40 for their contributions to the Cypriot economy through innovation and development. Nicolas Panayi, Eurobank Corporate Banking general manager, praised the event and highlighted the critical role of entrepreneurship in adapting to an evolving business environment.

Panayi emphasized that young entrepreneurs are driving change by introducing new ideas, solutions, and perspectives, often leveraging technology and knowledge investment. He underscored Eurobank’s role as more than just a financier, acting as a reliable partner throughout the businesses’ journey from inception to growth and international expansion.

Amid global economic and technological shifts, Panayi stressed the importance of boldness and perseverance in entrepreneurship, reaffirming Eurobank’s dedication to nurturing innovative businesses. He called on young entrepreneurs in Cyprus to continue creating and inspiring, positioning them as vital contributors to the country's economic future.
