Further studies requested for Trozena housing development environmental assessment
Authorities overseeing the planned housing development at Trozena have requested additional studies to complete the environmental and cumulative impact assessment. The Department of Environment and the Game and Fauna Service made the request during a meeting on September 30, where the investor and advisers presented the project’s master plan.
The evaluation will consider the entire project collectively rather than individual housing units, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of potential environmental impacts. The investor’s consultants agreed to prepare and submit the required technical studies to the authorities.
The process is now expected to advance to the examination stage of the planning permit application. Officials confirmed that no construction work is currently taking place on the site. The meeting included representatives from local government, environmental departments, and the investor's team.
