MahallArt 26, the flagship cultural programme of Larnaka 2030, is set to begin its autumn celebrations in the Ais Yiannis neighbourhood of Larnaca from October 8 to 10. The festival will offer a free and diverse programme designed with local residents in mind, showcasing the area's unique history, streets, and people. Highlights include a cinema night opening with Ken Loach’s film The Old Oak, art walks, theatre, dance performances, and workshops.

Friday evening features participatory activities such as tote-bag printing, collective artwork creation, interactive music workshops, and a live cooking experience, culminating with a concert by The Tease. The weekend will conclude with an open discussion about MahallArt at the Politikos Omilos Vasilitzia club house, accompanied by free coffee and treats.

MahallArt continues through to November 8, expanding to other Larnaca neighbourhoods including Stavrodromi, Dromolaxia-Meneou-Kiti, and the Ayioi Anargyroi refugee settlement, aiming to activate and celebrate local culture across the city.
