Police seize hundreds of nitrous oxide canisters in Famagusta raid

Police confiscated 271 nitrous oxide canisters and 47 used ones during a raid at a premises in the Famagusta district on Sunday night. The search, conducted by the Famagusta crime prevention unit under a court warrant, also uncovered four metal cylinders and several balloons.

Authorities have summoned the individual responsible for the location to Ayia Napa police station for questioning. Investigations are ongoing as police continue to probe the source and intended use of the seized substances.
