Nephrologist warns against unproven anti-aging use of plasmapheresis after Cyprus patient treated

Upon investigation by the Medical Association, no approved medical machinery was found at the clinic, raising serious safety and regulatory concerns. Typically, plasmapheresis is performed in hospital settings with appropriate equipment and trained medical staff.
The nephrologist stressed the necessity for clear regulations and proper medical supervision in plasmapheresis treatments to prevent misuse.
