Eurobank repurchases over 1 million shares in latest buyback phase on Euronext Athens
Eurobank S.A. repurchased 1,060,775 of its own shares on Euronext Athens between September 7 and 11, 2026, as part of its ongoing share buyback programme. The bank spent approximately €5 million at an average price of €4.7124 per share during the five-day period. This latest buyback continues the strategic initiative first announced in June 2026 and authorized by shareholders in April 2026.
During the week, the highest volume occurred on September 9 when Eurobank acquired 279,650 shares worth nearly €1.3 million. Daily prices ranged between €4.63 and €4.80 per share throughout the trading sessions. Following these transactions, Eurobank's treasury shares now total 25,818,033. All purchases were executed through Eurobank Equities Single Member Investment Firm S.A., the bank’s designated brokerage member on Euronext Athens.
